This is a psychoeducation group facilitated by masters-level intern, Marie Ogletree Payne. Helping you by building understanding, skills, and practical tools for supporting a young child who is navigating grief. Together, you’ll explore how grief can look different in young children, what behaviors may actually be expressions of grief, and ways you can respond that are both compassionate and developmentally appropriate.
Because you are meeting virtually, there is flexibility within your participation: by speaking, using the chat, listening quietly, turning your camera on or off—whatever feels right for you. There’s no pressure within our invitation.
The intention of this group is to support you in feeling more confident, more informed, and less alone as you care for a grieving child—and to extend that same compassion to yourself.
