Marie Ogletree

Social Work Student Intern

Hello! I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of Kentucky, currently completing my clinical internship at Artemis Therapeutic Center. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Global Studies from Auburn University, where I first developed an interest in trauma-informed systems and the intersection of policy, advocacy, and direct care.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve been actively building my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and trauma-informed care. These experiences have not only guided my clinical interests but also reinforced my dedication to creating trusting, supportive relationships with individuals from all backgrounds. I’m continually inspired by the strength and resilience of those I work with, and I strive to meet each person with empathy, respect, and genuine care.
At Artemis, I’m here to learn, listen, and support. I understand that healing is not linear—and that every person’s story is unique, complex, and meaningful. I believe that people are the
experts on their own lives and experiences, and my role is to walk alongside them with respect, curiosity, and compassion. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring what
healing can look like for them.
I believe that with the right support, people can overcome even life’s most difficult challenges. I’m grateful to be part of your journey and committed to showing up with presence, openness,
and care each day.
