Gregory Peoples

I am an MSW graduate student at Capella University. I hold a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from Bluefield College. My journey in social work is driven by a passion for empathy and empowerment.

​I’ve focused on developing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) skills during my studies. My internship provides me a valuable hands-on experience, allowing me to apply these techniques and support individuals in overcoming their challenges.

​I believe in a holistic approach to social work, addressing the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of those I serve. My passion lies in advocating for and supporting those who have faced adversity, including survivors of abuse, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. I am dedicated to working with both children and adults, offering a holistic approach to healing and empowering clients to regain control over their lives.
